The Safe Net General Assistance fund is used to help people with those sudden things that come out of the blue: emergency oil deliveries in 50 gallon increments, utilities, prescriptions, gas cards, rent and so on. This year we spent $6,763 on these services.
Safe Net works closely with Stafford Social Services to ensure that people have access to all the programs available to them. Safe Net refers all clients to Stafford Social Services first and then we fill the gaps. We act as a safety net. Festi’s Oil has generously made 50-gallon deliveries for us since our inception.
